I will have three to five songs (or maybe an album) in the rotations. I will change them every week (or try to). Update: 4/14/07 Note: The following 5 songs this week will all be on one wonderful Mandarin singer Huang YiDa. I chose all the songs out of his 3rd album released in Feb. ^^ Song 1: Blog Rating: ******** [8/10] This song has its own personal touch to itself. It gives off a nice feeling and a light touch. So if you're in a cheery mood, this song is perfecto for you. Song 2: Extrication Rating: ********- [8.5/10] Ah, this song is really pleasing. His voice collabrated well with the music itself...I love it when he almost goes into the high notes near the end of this song. Song 3: Princess Wen Cheng Rating: ******** [8/10] Huang YiDa's voice works with another Mandarin singer's voice in this one, almost creating an echo. I think this is one of his really original songs of his thrid album. This song is really nice sounding....but it gives off an edge of warning and danger. O.o Song 4: That Girl Rating: *********- [9.5/10] My favorite song of his third album. :D It almost sounds like he's crying when he sings some parts of this song (4 example: when he says 'I believe'). It has its upbeaty side and it's ballad sounding side. The music in the background is really controllled well so it intwines with his voice...his very husky voice. If you're going to chack out any of his songs, I would say check this one and the one following [The Grand Finale] first. Song 5: The Grand Finale Rating: ********* [9/10] Huang YiDa's voice is really unlike many other Cpop singers. He adds his own uniqueness to this song. Heck, he even wirtes his own songs...For example, the wrote this song. This song really shows off his beautiful, husky voice and his originality. It goes really deep and dark, almost like he's masking the song with darkness. In this song, his voice is really powerful and strong and broad and...Wonderful song. ^^
